Great comment Jackie. I need to take a little time to completely think through your thoughts and dilema. I do know that many people struggle with similar issues. I've talked with some who refuse to have multiple Twitter accounts, even though they own multiple businesses/websites. I've talked with some who decide to have MANY online ID's. In these cases, I've found it easy to deal with (from an outside, relational aspect) when they tell me all their ID's and explain a bit. It makes complete sense and I know they are all the same person. From my own perspective, I blog under Confessions of a Mom and Tweet under @confessionsmom, but I have many ideas and thoughts I'd love to pass along to Vivid Image friends. It doesn't make sense to list @ConfessionsMom on my Vivid Image businesscard/contact info, but I also don't have immediate plans to tweet/blog under multiple ID's. Is this close to what you where thinking?

I struggle with a couple things- mostly a case of multiple identities:

1) when to use our company icon/logo and when to use my photo. I just don't think it is always right to be Jackie when really it is all EasyStand. I am slowly changing this as I see it works, but it is tricky.
2)leaving comments on blogs - I have an issue of not being able to link back to our company blog at http://blog.easystand.com. Either it will be a blogger site that seems to only accept blogger links, or it will connect me with Google Connect, which is more of my person account and links to my personal blog.... and I cannot seem to consistently use Open ID. I need some help/advice with this as I struggle with multiple identities :) This site works good for comments, because I just add whatever URL I want. Maybe it is more of a blogger thing, but I am missing out on good links back to our corporate blog. Sorry a little off subject with your blog... but kind of applies.
