		<description>Over the past couple years, we have seen our response rate to direct mail go down, and our email newsletter subscriber list and open rate going up.  The cost of direct mail is outrageous, but we are always hoping to have that &quot;impact&quot; when they see our mail piece.  We are still trying to keep a mix of many marketing medias, but with an increased cost and decreased return for direct mail, where is the incentive? I had not heard that the open rate for email is now better then direct mail.  It does surprise me, but maybe because for so long, email marketers were lead to believe their messages were not getting through SPAM filters, etc.</description>

		<description>I totally agree - Constant Contact is an excellent way to share your expertise, build relationships and stay on your client&#039;s radar.

I work with people to create and maintain online marketing campaigns (including e-newsletters) using Constant Contact.  I offer classes for beginners (my next class is Wed April 22 at 1:00 NYC time) as well as one-on-one sessions to get people started.  I also offer a monthly e-newsletter designed expressly to support people that are publishing their own e-marketing materials.  It contains hints and tips as well as graphic add-ons to enhance their designs.
