Beth - Great article and timely, as i was about to do EXACTLY what you said not to - make a fake person. what if I am setting up a Fan Page for a client (I'm in PR). Even i have them set up the page and make me an administrator, every time i make a status update, it will show my PERSONAL profile photo (currently my wedding photo) - No?

I thought of one more pitfall that should have been in here. Pitfall #4: Don't create a "Group" when you really intend to set up a "Fan Page". There is a difference. Businesses and Non-Profits want the functionality and benefits of a Fan Page. NO-You can't transfer from a Group to a Fan Page. Set it up correctly or you'll need to delete and start over.
