After 30 years of Leadership, the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce expanded their Leadership Training Programs to include Leadership 2.0: a second year program focused on building self-awareness and intentionality.

What are They Doing Differently?

Just as an office can have a very unique culture, a community absolutely has its own culture. The culture in Hutchinson has been one of embracing new ideas rather than throwing up arms in exasperation or hoping someone else will solve the problem. As with all cultures, they must be nurtured to stay healthy.


The Leadership Culture is Strong

The leadership culture in Hutchinson is strong and has been eagerly addressed by 30 years of participants in the Hutchinson Leadership Institute, a leadership training program that focuses on serving the community and developing leaders passionate around the needs of our residents. For years, graduates of the program finished their year-long commitment excited to extend the momentum and take on new challenges by asking “what’s next?” Last year, the Hutchinson Chamber premiered Leadership 2.0, a dive into deeper leadership skills for graduates of the program and a solution to what comes next!


Extraordinary Results from Inaugural Leadership 2.0 Team

Seventeen participants of the inaugural Leadership 2.0 program, representing both the business and non-profit sectors of the community came together to be a part of Hutchinson history. These individuals were committed to 100% attendance, learning about themselves, applying what they’ve learned, and bringing skills to the community with a message that together we can foster an even better, more positive and progressive community culture focused on building leaders within their families, work teams, volunteer organizations, community initiatives, and businesses or organizations.


What came out of the Leadership 2.0 Team was extraordinary. If you have ever wondered where true change starts, look no further than the stories and testimonies from those who will readily share their personal experiences, struggles, “ah ha” moments, and successes with anyone interested in engaging in conversation. The depth at which the team dove into their tendencies and how to change their realities was incredible, with a rawness rarely found in any other leadership program. Paragraph
